Soweit man das auf Basis der bisher geteilten Daten beurteilen kann, scheint Google einen brauchbaren Kompromiss zwischen „Wir müssen Chat in die SERPs integrieren!!1111elf" und „Das Feature ist für unsere Brand gefährlich und wird Schwierigkeiten im Ökosystem verursachen, wenn wir die organischen Ergebnisse komplett verbannen" gefunden zu haben.
Sowohl für die Search Labs, als auch für Google Bard kannst Du Dich registrieren. Was Du dafür brauchst ist ein VPN in die USA und eine Google-Mail-Adresse, die nicht an einem deutschen Unternehmen hängt. Ein normales Gmail-Konto ist völlig ausreichend.
Ich habe jetzt ein paar Tage mit Google Bard gespielt. Google Bard hat ein paar interessante Vorteile gegenüber ChatGPT: Der Index ist größer und aktueller. Zumindest, wenn der Chat auf PALM2 setzt. Für meine ersten Tests hat Google Bard allerdings nur auf LaMDA gesetzt.
Das wiederum führt zu sehr durchwachsenen Ergebnissen. Hier merkt man, wie sehr ChatGPT schon eine Lernkurve hinter sich hat.

Wir arbeiten hier mit Wahrscheinlichkeiten und es wäre sehr unwahrscheinlich, dass Google das auf Anhieb hinbekommt. Nicht umsonst waren viele Vorstellungen nicht „Unsere AI ist sooo viel geiler geworden", sondern „Unsere AI hat jetzt einen Export to Google Mail-Button bekommen".
