Our principles
We are excited if you want to work with us. It’s important to us that you understand, respect, and hopefully live by our principles. We know that this will make our collaboration more successful.
- We communicate on equal terms. Whether you are a client, partner, or service provider, we expect open and respectful communication at eye level.
- Partnership doesn’t involve games or one-sided advantages. You want something from us, and we want something from you. For us, it’s not just about money. Exciting projects that allow us to research, experiment, learn, and exchange ideas are incredibly valuable to us.
- Openness and feedback make us all better. Let us know if something in the collaboration was to your liking. Even more important: tell us if something didn’t go well, or if things need to change. Open feedback is the only way we can improve. Expect us to give you feedback as well – always constructive and with the best intentions to make our collaboration even better.
- Sustainability creates the future. Not just in terms of the environment and relationships, but also for your success. We don’t believe in shortcuts or quick fixes – we tackle problems thoroughly and sustainably at their root. If a shortcut is necessary, we’ll openly discuss the trade-offs. No one benefits from work that ends up in the trash.
- Clarity creates fairness. Clear, binding agreements that both sides honor are the foundation of success. We stick to our deadlines and expect the same from you. This applies to appointments, agreements, and payment deadlines alike.
- Wingpeople are human too. People make mistakes. And of course, we make mistakes too. We do our best to avoid them, but when they happen, we’ll address them openly and appreciate your understanding. In return, we’ll extend the same understanding to you – as long as we communicate honestly and transparently. Together, we can solve any problem.
- We enjoy our work.We believe work should be fun. We don’t take ourselves too seriously and know that humor helps us deliver better results. We hope you feel the same way because we’re looking forward to a collaboration that’s not just successful but also enjoyable!
Important: We’re consultants. We’re at our best when we work with you to develop strategies, conduct essential analyses, give you actionable advice, and help you build and train your own capabilities. We can also roll up our sleeves when things get hectic but to be honest, there are others who can code, develop, and write better, faster, and more affordably than we can. What matters most is your challenge and we want to solve it together with you.
Our way of working
- Clear responsibilities: You’ll always have a main contact person. Even if you’ll meet several specialists and Wingmen on different tasks, one person will always be responsible for managing your project and will remain your primary point of contact.
- Direct communication: We appreciate working directly in the ticketing system and speaking with those who implement the tasks. This minimizes effort and reduces the risk of misunderstandings on all sides.
- Hands-on: We prefer talking to you directly and defining concrete tasks in bullet points to get things moving quickly, rather than wasting time on PowerPoint presentations and endless email exchanges. But of course, if you need emails or PowerPoint presentations, we’ll create them for you.
- Action is more important to us than analysis and reporting: We love analyzing data, but in the end, we want to make the internet a better place – which only happens when real changes are made. Yes, we need to understand what’s happening, but how much detail is really necessary to take action? That’s why we’re not fans of excessive reporting, it’s retrospective and rarely drives meaningful change. You should monitor your own KPIs, and if not, we’re happy to help. But meaningful action requires resources on your side as well.
- Open information: If something significant happens in your business that isn’t directly SEO-related, please let us know. This helps us identify patterns more efficiently instead of spending time analyzing unrelated search behavior.
- Binding agreements: We stick to deadlines and promises. And we expect the same from you. If something is unclear, let’s talk. Misunderstandings often arise from unclear communication. We want to avoid that. Help us with that.
- Sustainability: We are always working on becoming more efficient and improving our processes. We aim to avoid redundant work and ensure that every task we handle adds value for both you and us.
